The redistricting of the 160th
Redistricting Map 160th Hello, I am a resident of Upper Chichester Township, part of the current 160th state house district, and I am opposed to the current proposal of removing Upper Chichester from this district. As a resident of Upper Chichester for the past (36) Thirty six years , I oppose this version of the redistricting map because our Township has deep ties with the surrounding Townships like Garnet Valley , Concord and Bethel. I am one of many who have been coaching CYO for travel sports for all Upper Chichester Teams from St Francis and Regional Holy Redeemer Church and Schools who interact with the Catholic Schools for all three Sports within the 160th district. Our Avg income and Professional careers are more in-line with the surrounding families of the 160th than the 159th. Garnet Valley and Concordville Township's uses our recreation sports fields and Sports Buildings for training and /or tournaments with in the Tri state area. With our removal of Upper Chichester from the 160th will strain our relationships with the surrounding Townships. Not just in sports but within sharing of our Church gyms and CYO schedule of members in our league. Why now are trying to take Upper Chichester out of the 160th after all these years of us being able share our resources with Concord, Betel and Garnet Valley? Our Children share our Catholic Schools Dances between the regional as well as after school activities. Why do you want to split our Children now, after all they been for the last three years.
