84th District is Unconstitutional
The 84th Legislative District as proposed in this plan is clearly unconstitutional and unfair to the residents who reside in the current district as well as those who would be shifted to this district. The Pennsylvania Constitution states that districts should be compact as possible. The 84th as proposed is a gerrymandered district designed to place as many Republican registered voters in this district with no regard to fairness and constitutionality. The obvious sole purpose is to split the city of State College in order to make two Democrat Districts which also is unconstitutional since splitting the town is not necessary. This is the very definition of gerrymandering.
