Thoughts on Redistricting

For the first time in decades Pennsylvania will have the chance to unrig our gerrymandered districts and have a legislature that better represents Pennsylvania – the rural areas, suburbs and cities. Voters should pick our leaders, not the other way around. For many Pennsylvanians, no matter where we come from or what we look like, our leaders do not represent us because they rig the system through gerrymandering. For too long our cities and suburbs have been ignored by incumbents more focused on protecting their major than helping all residents of Pennsylvania. Now we finally have a redistricting process that focuses on people and not politicians. Despite bad faith and partisan attacks the LRC must finish its work quickly to get the districts settled for the 2022 elections. Thanks for all the work that has been done and will do for districts in Pennsylvania!
