Keep Sugarloaf Township in the 116th

The PA Legislative Reapportionment Commission has drawn new boundary lines for our House of Representatives.  Currently Sugarloaf is part of the 116th and has been served by Former Representative Tarah Toolhill, who lives and had her office within a few miles of us.  In drawing the new lines, Sugarloaf has been removed from the 116th and placed in the 117th with areas as far away as Dallas Township and Harvey's Lake, almost an hour away.  If the proposed changes remain, Sugarloaf will be disenfranchised from our Representative.  Especially in these complicated times, it is important for our community to be properly represented. In closing, Sugarloaf Township should remain in the 116th so as not to disinfranchise the constituents from their Representative.  Removing Sugarloaf from the 116th does not meet the principles of fairness and compactness set forth in the Pa State Constitution.
