District 10 and 14

Residing in state house district 10 is frustrating as it is shaped in an extremely odd way that was gerrymandered heavily. The locations in Beaver County currently in the 10th district should be in what is now the 14th district according to the map, if we care about shape and continuity. Beaver Falls should be back in the same district with Chippewa and Patterson , as they are all considered Beaver Falls mailing addresses and everyone refers to them as Beaver Falls area. We live and shop together. It used to be this way before the last change, but Beaver Falls was cut out. Now our current 10th district state rep office is in a different county 30 minutes north, and the 14th District State Representative’s office in Chippewa is five minutes up the road with the same Beaver Falls mailing address, yet Beaver Falls the town is not in that district. How does that make sense? The representative for the 10th doesn’t spend any time in the very minor portion of Beaver County, as the rest of the district is concerned with Lawrence county issues. It is not balance. It seems a very congruent district can be drawn in northern Beaver County where Beaver Falls and maybe New Brighton would be the southern most portion and Beaver Falls can be incorporated back into a northern Beaver county district.
