40th Legislative District Feedback
Peters Township & Bethel Park need to stay in the 40th district together. I don’t understand why they would be split. Not only they geographically close, but they are demographically similar and should not be split up. Peters & Bethel are not as close to the city whereas Upper St. Clair is more of a Pittsburgh city suburb. The people of Upper St. Clair have similar demographics and mindsets to those of the city limits and surrounding areas. Peters and Bethel have a lot of green space and farms that each other’s residents benefit from. Kids participate in athletics from these areas together. The communities of Peters & Bethel are also incredibly likeminded. The schools are similarly ranked, and I see no reason why they should be split up. Please think about taking Upper St. Clair out of the 40th district before splitting Peters and Bethel Park up.
