40th District
Upper St. Clair is close enough to the city that it should be districted that way with places like Mt. Lebanon. Mt. Lebanon has shops and restaurants that Upper St. Clair residents benefit from and use daily. Whereas the amenities in Upper St. Clair are much further for Bethel & Peters residents. Peters & Bethel have likeminded people and are demographically similar. There are a lot of parks, green spaces, and recreational options in these areas that kids and adults use in both areas. The school district rankings are also similar. If you are going to change the districts I hope that Upper St. Clair gets mapped out of the 40th and Bethel and Peters can remain the same. As an Upper St. Clair resident, I feel strongly that we should be mapped closer to the city.
