14th State House District School Districts Comment

I noticed a comment here from someone in the past week that said Beaver Falls should be in the 14th State House District. All relevant points were made, but one item was missing. The school district of Beaver Falls is split politically, as well. An area like Big Beaver, which is part of the Big Beaver Falls School District, is in the 14th state house district (from looking at the map), yet Beaver Falls city is in the 10th district. It was clearly cut out to grab a certain political demographic for a previously drawn district that would have probably been advantageous for some incumbent in 2010. I still can't believe the shape of the 10th district when I look at it. Beaver Falls should absolutely be with Big Beaver due it being the same school district, hence why it's called "Big Beaver Falls School District." Families who send their kids to the same school have two different state representatives at the current moment. The school board has to deal with two different state representatives. And yes, all of those surrounding areas like West Mayfield, White Township, Chippewa, Patterson, etc. are all known as the greater Beaver Falls area on a map and at the post office. I think New Brighton School District may have the same issue here, too. If I'm not mistaken after doing a quick Google search, Daugherty Township, Fallston, and Pulaski are all in New Brighton School District, yet the downtown area of New Brighton proper is cut out into the 10th District. In that case, this sliver of New Brighton on the map that was cut out for the 10th should also be in the 14th district. It seems the more "urban/downtown" type settings were cut out to be incorporated in that previous gerrymander for a Lawrence county seat. I like that idea of a north Beaver County district with these two towns school districts fully falling into it. It makes sense and the communities actively participate in many things together. I may try to see if I can use that map editor citizens are using to share how obvious a district it could be. Thanks for reading.
