Naked power grab and hypocrisy
Why should we be surprised that a "non-partisan" government bureaucracy currently run by Democrats would gerrymander Bucks County to benefit Democrats? We currently have 7 house seats held by Republicans. After this gerrymander there will be 5 blue seats, three red seats and two in play, with little relevance as to the competence and quality of the candidates running for those seats. Democrats cry "foul" all the while doing precisely what they accuse the other side of doing. What happened to the State legislature drawing the lines per our state constitution? The Democrat run PA Supreme Court grabbed the power ceded to the house.
