Inefficient Redistricting
The proposed changes to district 168 will result in an unintended consequence of higher school taxes for residents of the Rose Tree Media School District. As a Director Emeritus of the RTM school board, I can personally attest to additional resources at district level that will be needed for coordination of state education initiatives among three separate house districts, as opposed to the one district we have used for the past 30 years. Coordinating between four participating municipal governments is difficult enough in RTM, do not incumber the district further by splitting school population at state level, yet one more state complication at the local level.
