The Peoples Senate Map Works for Cumberland County
I respectfully request that the Legislative Reapportionment Committee adopt The People’s Senate Map as proposed by Fair Districts PA. This map keeps Cumberland County whole, whereas the one proposed by the Legislature breaks the county into pieces and, for some mysterious reason, merges the areas of Camp Hill and East Pennsboro with Perry and northern Dauphin counties. Cumberland County has been identified as one of the fastest growing counties in the state. It’s time it is reunited and has its own Senator. I thank the Commission for their hard work and consideration of the FDPA Peoples Maps.
