Keep Bethlehem united in 18th Senatorial district
Please keep Bethlehem united in one state senate seat and do NOT divide what should remain united. Bethlehem should remain united in its 18th Senatorial district. Merging Allentown and Bethlehem into one senatorial district is bad for the voters of both cities and the Lehigh Valley as whole. It is not in our best interest. Allentown and Bethlehem are very different communities. I know this first-hand. Before I moved to my present residence in North Bethlehem, I taught school in East Allentown for 25 years while a resident of West Bethlehem. Allentown and Bethlehem have different needs and different challenges. Currently, they do not compete for funding especially school funding and the other issues that come before the State Senate.
