I would like to thank the Commission for working hard to create more fair and equitable maps for Pennsylvania that put the best interests of the citizens and voters ahead of the whims of politicians. Pennsylvania has had some of the most gerrymandered maps in the United States. Your Commission has done the difficult and critical work of creating maps that make sense and will ensure that the voters of all kinds have a real voice in electing officials who will represent them. We desperately need to approve maps like you have proposed to ensure our voices as citizens matter.
