OPPOSING Currently drawn map!

I strongly oppose the currently proposed map in PA's State Senate. The map fails to account for the last decade's significant population shift from Western parts of the state toward the Southeast. Hence, this map would overly represent people in the Western part of the state and underrepresent people in the Southeastern part of the state. Democracy requires us to ensure fair representation of all citizens, equally and fairly. In addition, the preliminary Senate map divides Latino communities across the state into many separate districts, diluting the power of Latino voters and communities. This is true not only of the Philadelphia portions of the map, but also in several cities in the Lehigh Valley. Do the right thing: Assign districts that empower, NOT that dilute, the voices of individual citizens!
