opposition to proposed map
I write to voice my opposition to the proposed map which would divide the city of Bethlehem. This makes no sense. Why do something that discourages unity of a city? This would affect the Bethlehem Area School District and other important entities requiring legislative oversight for one city. This appears to go against the laws of the state constitution. There has been far too much gerrymandering of the Commonwealth and this appears to continue that pattern. I urge the Commission to draw up a fair map that truly represents the best interests of the citizens of Bethlehem and the entire Commonwealth.
