Keep MIFFLIN and JUNIATA together!!!!!
Juniata and Mifflin Counties need to remain together in a House district (like they are currently). Off the top of my head, here are the services that both counties share: Human Services, Chamber of Commerce, Visitor’s Bureau, county prisons, a hospital, the drug and alcohol commission, United Way, CareerLink, The Academy (our area vocational technical school), Tuscarora Intermediate Unit, our daily newspaper, the Area Agency on Aging, and the legal aide office. So many of our residents go to one of the two counties, from the other, to live, work, and play. To suggest separating the two would be a huge detriment.
