District including Penn State University

For the redistricting process I am writing in support of keeping The Pennsylvania State University as one legislative district. Dividing PSU into two legislative districts would actually go against some of the principles laid out by the Pennsylvania Redistricting Advisory Council, e.g., providing geographic compactness and maintaining communities of interest. All state legislative representatives advocate for the University so I see no benefit in splitting the collegiate community – it would be in the best interest of the University to have one representative. Having one district could also be more efficient and less confusing for the voters
