Mifflin and Juniata County

Juniata County and Mifflin County are two geographically close areas that should stay together in the redrawing of the new maps. The two counties share businesses, employees, human service agencies, a chamber of commerce, and a long history. To divide the representation of these two areas is to deny a unified community their voice. Our representative should represent both areas to ensure that the community where we live and go to school shares the same values as the community where we shop, worship, and work. The people of Juniata and Mifflin county are not divided by geographical lines or county names, and the Legislative Reapportionment Commission should honor our togetherness.
