Redistricting Hummelstown
It has come to my attention, that the new redistricting plan is to move Hummelstown out of the 106th district into a district combined with Harrisburg City. I kindly ask that this be reconsidered. Hummelstown shares more of a demographic as citizens, similar cultures and lifestyles that are represented by the rural/suburban areas now in the 106th. I strongly feel combining our representation along with Harrisburg City would be very detrimental to those who live in the city environment. We must keep districts made up of individuals who have the rural/suburban similarities, along with the environmental and lifestyle cultures. The similarities within the citizenship of the 106th, makes this a strong district that allows a representative to serve and support his/her constituents.
